There is one thing that continually comes up that really bugs me. And that is? The stupid fonts that captcha graphics use.
Honestly. Captchas are everywhere nowadays, and inevitably they utilize some graphic that has a bunch of severely skewed and demented looking letters on it. I’m not a robot, I’m a human being: yet 4 times out of 5 I can’t tell what letters/numbers the demented captcha graphic is displaying and type it in wrong. And have to do it again. And again.
Once in a while I come across a captcha that uses a nice normal font. What a relief. But more often than not, people seem to amuse themselves by making deformed wiggly letters all running into and on top of one another. Why? Why? Isn’t Life troublesome enough without buying extra trouble in the form of impossible to (visually) decode captchas?
