I have paid $3,950 onto my MBNA card since February 7th. Impressive. Which means that now I owe less than $3,500 on it — soon I’ll be able to obliterate it and close it forever!
I hate MBNA. My mother says it is wrong to use the word “hate” flippantly. I strongly dislike MBNA. mrtee agrees with me.
Long weekend, most excellent. We had our first D&D session saturday night — G. and I wrote our own D&D like game because we weren’t happy with many things about the current version of D&D. We’re having a bit of trouble balancing things (the woe of all game designers I’m sure) but it looks like it will be a good game! We cooked massive quantities of food and everyone created and argued about their characters and we ran through a sort of intro setting. I love the Russians: they just make me feel joyful every time I see them!
Sunday we went out to Frodo MA to try to find a good place to let the dogs run. We drove for forever and kept finding places which were either crappy, or had no parking, or dogs weren’t allowed. I was fast becoming pissed off and grouchy (I hate road trips), but then we completely suddenly came upon the most ENORMOUS frozen lake I have seen. It made Walden Pond look like an infant. People were out there ice fishing and cooking food over an open fire and playing hockey and having a grand old time — so we walked out right into the middle of the vast expanse of frozen white and let the dogs go.
They looked so funny, running over the slick ice and skidding to a stop on their asses when we told them to sit.
Yesterday it snowed, so we took the dogs up Corey Hill and played with them at the park on top — it was so slippery on the grass I ended up on my own ass more than a few times. Then, because it was cold and damp and grey, we went home and played computer games. Utter dorkery, but it’s so fun!
Never fear, I’d never do that \pizza thing, though, mrtee!
The best thing is that now today is Tuesday so next weekend is closer! Hurray!
