Brrrr. It’s always so damn cold in my office.
I hate that flap flap sound that flip-flops make when you walk. Is there any way around it?
It’s been raining a lot but I don’t mind it. It’s a nice, peaceful, dripping kind of rain and the sky never looks flat. Last night Zaubi and I took a walk all around Cambridge from 10:30PM till midnight. We went from my place to Harvard Square and around there for a while and back. In the rain, which grew heavy at times and soaked us through. At first I was cold but later I wasn’t – isn’t it funny how you adjust?
I love walking in the rain.
Tomorrow and Sunday I’m going back to my mom’s to hang out with my little sister. She is leaving for Cornell in exactly two weeks, the same weekend that Esperanza is leaving for Michigan for far too long… What will I do without them both?!
I was thinking that Zaubi and I could fly out to Cornell and visit my sister a bunch once he renews his pilot certification. My mother was very much against that idea; she thinks he is so accident-prone (ref: Thanksgiving)
But Esperanza! I am used to her just being a bus ride away… at least once at school she’ll be able to IM me more without any Greek weirdos hanging over her neck!
So next weekend I am driving down to NYC to help her move her final stuff back to Boston and get one good solid weekend of hanging out with her in before she leaves.
And after January, depending on what happens with my job (who knows!?) I am going to go visit her and keep her in line! Mwahahahah.
